See Our Animation Process
Animation starts out with a (Pre-Production) meeting, in-person or over the phone/web to discuss the client’s strategy for the project, it’s scale, timeline, other expectations.
Once that’s done, we’ll get started on a script. This helps us understand how long the animation will be. Once that’s approved, we’ll make an animatic (a rough animation or, motion graphic) to get the shots and pacing down.
Next, we’ll start on the final animation. All the other processes should be met first to help keep time and costs down to a minimum.
Lastly, we’ll package (export) the video and deliver it to you to share to your audience.
How Long Does It Take?
This can take anywhere from a couple week turnaround to many months (depending on the scale of the project). We vary from 30 second spots to 30min episodes. Specifically, animation can take longer as each asset needs to be drawn or, created which typically takes a bit longer than a video shoot.
